UNUN meet-up #3
Timmerhuis, Halvemaanpassage 1, 3011 AH, RotterdamPlease join the 3rd meet-up of Ukraine the Netherlands Urban Network, taking place at the Timmerhuis on Wednesday 23 November 2022 from 18:00-21:00. A networking event where we will give an update on the developments of the UNUN initiative (previously known as REstart Ukraine x The Netherlands) and invite Dutch and Ukrainian professionals to share and connect.
This is a follow-up of two public events that took place earlier this year. On Friday 20 May at Independent School for the City and on Wednesday 22 June as part of the Rotterdam Architecture Month at the New Institute. With over 100 participants we opened the discussion with experts from Ukraine and the Netherlands and explored different approaches to the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities and what is needed in the proces.
On 23 November we will continue the conversation on longterm and shortterm strategies that have been established so far or are still needed. Oleksandra Tkachenko will talk us through the developments of the UNUN initiative. Through 2 panel discussions moderated by Chris Luth we aim to get an overview and determine how to move forward. After the plenary program there is time for drinks and networking where the different UNUN work groups will be present to elaborate on their work so far.
We would like to emphasize that this invitation is also directed to Dutch design practises that are not involved in Ukrainian initiatives yet, but could contribute from different fields of expertise, for example experience with projects related to natural hazards.
