WDJArchitecten was founded in 1999 to coordinate the architectural aspect of the redevelopment of the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam- now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At WDJArchitecten, this pioneering project taught us the essential need for well-organized and thorough collaboration in an inclusive and open-minded work environment. WDJArchitecten is active in several different disciplines within the architectural field, with a portfolio consisting of projects ranging from master plans and redevelopment visions to architectural design for redevelopment and interventions- both with and without additional construction. Sometimes in a special place, often in an urban dynamic. Moreover, interior design constitutes part of our design process in many of our projects. In addition to making a positive impact on the built fabric of our own country, we are also active elsewhere in Europe, and have projects in cities such as Brussels and Venice.
