About Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners
We believe that landscape architecture plays a crucial role in tackling today’s societal, climate-adaptive, and ecological challenges. Based in the Lloydkwartier district of Rotterdam, our international team of 35 passionate professionals brings together expertise in landscape architecture, planting design, urban planning, climate science, and technical engineering.
Specializing in the creation of integrated environments, we actively engage in research projects exploring the synergy between climate adaptation and social sustainability. This knowledge is seamlessly woven into our projects, helping to create healthier and more inclusive living environments. With expertise spanning every phase of a project—from conceptual vision to implementation—we deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to local needs while drawing on global insights.
Current projects include climate-resilient plans for Cartagena (Colombia) and Nakuru (Kenya), as well as urban development initiatives in Groningen (Netherlands).
Our recognized studies feature the Nature-Based Solutions Catalogue, the Green Plan for Leuven, and The Nature-Powered City Almere 2040.
Completed works include The Unbound in Amsterdam, the Jonas rooftop garden, Campus Eemsdelta, Yangmeikeng Seafront Boulevard (China), Rijnvliet urban forest, Park Somerlust, and the De Regulateur garden.
At Felixx, we approach landscape design with a pragmatic yet visionary mindset. For each project, we assemble a dedicated team that blends extensive experience with youthful creativity and enthusiasm. From research and design to technical execution and construction, we remain fully engaged in every phase, working closely with clients and partners to deliver transformative and lasting results.
Eduardo Marin Salinas, an expert in Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), will guide the tour. He will also deliver a brief presentation highlighting some of our most significant and impactful projects.
